Synthesizing a 4D Spatio-Angular Consistent Light Field from A Single Image - (ArXiv)
We synthesize a densely sampled image from a single image. We develop a new framework that uses a robust alternative geometric representation (appearance flow) and novel light field based loss that improves the angular consistency.

Light Field Depth Estimation on Off-the-Shelf Mobile GPU – CVPRW 2018
We investigate challenges and solutions for implementing a light field depth estimation on off-the-shelf mobile GPGPU.

Visual-Inertial RGB-D SLAM for Mobile Augmented Reality – PCM 2017
An RGB-D SLAM framework for AR/VR application on a mobile device. We include a dynamic occlusion handling using obtained depth information for a better immersive experience.

About Me

I’m a Master of Engineering with expertise in 3D CVGIP (computer vision, graphics, and image processing), and GPGPU. I studied in Image and Vision Computing Laboratory at Inha University, South Korea under supervision of Prof. In Kyu Park. My study has lead me to an opportunity to work with Prof. Ravi Ramamoorthi at UC San Diego Center for Visual Computing. I’m an author of CVPR-W and international or domestic computer vision conferences and journals. I focus on single and multi-view depth estimation, view synthesis, feature detection, AR/VR, and algorithm optimization on GPU. My colleagues describe me as a positive, driven, and highly responsible individual. I am passionate in solving computer vision problems which give a positive impact to the community.
